$350 Million - So what's Pedroia worth?

$350 million huh? Well that's only $39 million per postseason RBI as a Yankee over the last 4 years.

So that would make Pedroia worth $380 million and Lowell worth $622 million, and that's just this postseason. What a bargain.

This is classic!!!

I wonder how the fans of Toledo would react to Mrs. ARod wearing a "F*ck You" tshirt.

The hits keep on coming

Displaying all the subtlety of a hooker in the shadows of the Port Authority station on 8th Avenue, A-Rod announced his services were available to the highest bidder.

I dont care if it means waiting a LOOONG time before a 3rd title in my lifetime, I don't want this clown on the Red Sox. Take the $30 million and sign Lowell, Schilling and another arm in the pen.

Angels selling their soul for the devil??

The team thinks Manager Mike Scioscia can handle any superstar, but slugger's salary demands could mean owner Arte Moreno would be losing money instead of making it.

I actually think this could work. What's the over/under of number of games before Scioscia pulls ARod aside, beats him and leaves his body in an LA storm drain for not being a team player. The Angels have always been the standard of "team play". Will they actually sell their soul to Boras? Shame shame shame...

Red Sox Nation Speaks

Great article

http://www.sportsline.com/mlb/story/10439319

Great point about ARod blowing off the Hank Aaron award ceremony. Either the guy doesn't care or doesn't get it. I think he's too smart not to get it.

Ten days from the end of the series. 10, not 1, not an hour, 10 freakin' days. Why even have that discussion with Boras until the clock starts ticking. Obviously it was going to leak out. ARod successfully wimped out of playing in NY. I would love to see Posada, Rivera and Pettite all come back in the next 8 days and make ARod look like the snake he is for saying he didn't want to committ to a team with so many question marks about the roster.

ARod, please go sign with San Fran and finish 15 games out every year.

If you can't beat them, try to upstage them

Ok, I think I stole that line from Buster Olney. But I loved it.

This isn't earth shattering news, but is it any coincidence that teams get better when ARod leaves? As a Sox fan I hope he signs a 10 year deal with the Yankees.

I hope Bore-ass remembers to bring up the fact that Dice K has more postseason RBI than ARod does the last 3 years when he's negotiating his $300 million "deal"
